About
Young Artist • Visual Storyteller • Philanthropic Creator
Elaine Fan is a young artist and visual storyteller whose intuitive sense of color, emotion, and narrative emerged at an exceptionally early age. Based in Manhattan, she creates poetic worlds across painting, picture-book illustration, and poetry, each guided by a quiet brilliance and a distinctly lyrical imagination.
Elaine’s works have been showcased in Paris, Los Angeles, and New York, including two solo exhibitions that highlight the early depth of her creativity, as well as children’s showcases at the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Her paintings are often described as gentle dreamscapes—filled with warm light, tender characters, and the subtle wonders she notices in everyday life. She paints with a soft yet confident joy, creating moments of courage, kindness, and small miracles.
Beyond her artistic practice, Elaine has shown a remarkable commitment to philanthropy. Through her exhibitions in Los Angeles and New York, she donated the full proceeds of her auctioned works to charity, supporting causes such as Ronald McDonald House New York and programs assisting children with autism.
Elaine’s creative world extends far beyond the canvas. She enjoys ballet, piano, ice skating, skiing, tennis, choir, and watching sports games—moments that enrich her imagination and bring movement, rhythm, and warmth into her storytelling.
Her debut picture book, The Kind Story of Fantasy, reflects her belief in the quiet power of kindness and wonder. She is currently developing additional picture-book projects and expanding her body of work into a growing series that continues to blend visual poetry with heartfelt storytelling.
Elaine lives in Manhattan, continuing her artistic journey with curiosity, generosity, and a heart full of light, hoping her work inspires others to discover the magic within and around them.
